TUSCARORA INDIAN RESERVATION (WKBW) A one-car crash on the Tuscarora Indian Reservation has taken the life of 2 people and left several children without parents.

The accident happened around 2:14 am when a 1997 Buick LeSabre driven by 32-year old Brandon Rickard lost control, crossed over the center of Walmore Road, and hit a tree with such force that the vehicle was split in half.

Both Rickard and a passenger, 29-year old Danyle White, were killed in the impact.

The Niagara County Sheriff's Office is assisting the Lewiston Police Department in investigating the accident, and so far, it is believed that excessive speed was a factor.

Rickard and White had two children together but they also leave behind 4 other children from previous relationships.

The children are aged from 3-years to 15 years old.

Relatives are now trying to establish a fund to help care for all the kids through the Tuscarora Indian Mission Church located at 5035 Walmore Road, Sanborn.
