Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW) Sources close to Donald Trump say despite recent reports that he is not running for New York State Governor, the entrepreneur has not yet made up his mind.

Michael Caputo, a political consultant and coordinator for the Draft Movement, which works very closely with Trump, says "he is 50/50 right now and it really depends upon whether or not the Republican Party lines up with him. I think most republicans believe that if we have a primary fight before we go and fight Andrew Cuomo we have no chance to win."

Weighing in on the possibility that Trump could run for governor, chairman of the Erie County Democratic Party, Jeremy Zellner said "I don't know that Donald Trump can relate to your average taxpayer in New York State. He lives in Trump Tower and he has many houses all over the world and I just I think what we need is a progressive leader like Governor Cuomo who has put forth policies that help working families and all new yorkers."

But Trump is confident if he runs he could turn the state around, telling Eyewitness New " if you do the right economic development programs absolutely you could cut the taxes substantially. If you had a person that really knew and knew how to do it you could absolutely reduce taxes tremendously."
