Tree Falls on Car in Clarence

Saturday at 4:30 P.M., the New York State Police responded to a serious personal injury auto accident on Goodrich Road, north of Delaware Road, in the Town of Clarence. Randall Bigler was operating his vehicle, a 2007 Buick Lacrosse, south bound on Goodrich Road, when a large tree branch, fell 20 feet from a tree onto the roof of his car, crushing the roof of the car down to the seat of the rear passenger area. Mr. and Mrs. Bigler, front seat passengers, sustained minor injuries and were both treated and released. Their daughter Erin, 15 years of age, was seated in the rear seat, sustained severe injuries to her head and neck and was taken to Millard Fillmore Suburban and was transferred to ECMC, where she remains in critical condition.
