Traveler Advisory for I-190 in Niagara County

As a result, Interstate 190 northbound and southbound will be subject to lane closures as follows:

Interstate 190 Northbound
Interstate 190 northbound from Exit 23, NY Route 82 (Packard Road) to the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, in the towns of Niagara and Lewiston, Niagara County, will be reduced to one lane daily beginning on Monday, August 22 until further notice.

Interstate 190 Southbound
Interstate 190 southbound from Exit 24, NY Route 31 (Witmer Road) to Exit 23, NY Route 82 (Packard Road) in the town of Niagara, Niagara County, will be reduced to one lane beginning on Monday, August 22 until further notice.

Motorists are reminded that fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver’s license.
