Erie County Sheriff Tim Howard is announcing the arrest of a 36 year old North Tonawanda man on several charges in connection with an incident involving a domestic situation with his girlfriend late last night.
Bartholomew Mazzara of Remmington Drive, surrendered to Erie County Sheriff’s detectives this morning without incident after he was involved in shooting out the four tires of his girlfriend’s car with a shotgun on Fix Road on Grand Island.
Mazzara was charged with felony reckless endangerment; menacing, endangering the welfare of a child ( a child was looking out of their window in a nearby home when the shooting occurred); criminal possession of a weapon; felony criminal mischief.
Mazzara was arraigned in Grand Island Town court and remanded to the Holding Center on $10,000 bail.
