Tinted Windows, Crack, Heroin Taken Off the Streets of Buffalo Wednesday

OPERATION IMPACT ARRESTS

New York State Troopers assigned to OPERATION IMPACT in the City of Buffalo made the following arrests Wednesday night.

Troopers stopped a vehicle on Niagara Street for excessive window tint. A file check of a passenger, Suzanne M. Camizzi, age 40, of Tonawanda revealed that she had an active warrant for Reckless Endangerment 2nd in the City of Tonawanda . She was turned over to a City of Tonawanda patrol for arraignment.

John McDuffie, age 28, of Buffalo was stopped on Genessee Street for no seat belt. A file check revealed that he had an active City of Buffalo warrant for Assault 3rd degree and Harassment 2nd degree. When interviewed, McDuffie admitted that there was a small quantity of Marijuana in the vehicle. McDuffie was arrested for the warrants and for Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. He was committed to the Erie County Holding Center pending A.M. arraignment.

Troopers stopped a vehicle on 4th Street for no plate lamp. The operator of the vehicle gave the Troopers permission to search the vehicle. A passenger, Kelli Timmer, age 30, of Niagara Falls admitted to having used heroin two hours prior. She was found to be in possession of two hypodermic needles containing suspected heroin and a metal cap that had been used to prepare heroin. Timmer was charged with Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Needle, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree and Criminal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Timmer was committed to the Erie County Holding Center pending A.M. arraignment.

Phil E. Esskuchen, age 43, of Cheektowaga was stopped on Forest Avenue for no plate light. A search of the vehicle revealed a crack pipe and small quantity of crack cocaine. A file check revealed a passenger Sherry C. Seda, age 30, of Buffalo was found to have an active warrant from the City of Buffalo court for Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th Degree and an active Erie County Family Court warrant for an unspecified offense. Phil E. Esskuchen, Sherry C. Seda were arrested for 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Another passenger in the vehicle Juan L. Vasquez, age 49, of Buffalo was charged with 3 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree after he was searched and 4 Hydrocodone tablets were found on him. Seda was lodged in the Erie County Holding Center pending A.M. arraignment. Vasquez and Esskuchen were issued Appearance Tickets returnable to the City of Buffalo court.
