BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - An unlikely ally has surfaced in the Paladino camp for governor.
Former Buffalo Bill and Hall of Famer Thurman Thomas throws his hat in the political ring, endorsing Republican candidate for governor Carl Paladino.
Paladino had come under fire for forwarding racist and sexually-oriented e-mails, being called racist by some in the political arena.
"Now, political insiders who fear Carl Paladino's plan to clean up Albany are calling him racist. I've known Carl for years; he's no racist," says Thomas in a new ad released on Facebook. Adding, "he'll be a governor for all New Yorkers."
