Moore, O.K. (WKBW) - Pro football Hall-of-Famer and Buffalo Bills legend Thurman Thomas is heading to Oklahoma to help with relief efforts following the tornado.
Thomas played football for Oklahoma State, where he set records and earned a Heisman Trophy candidacy.
“I was engulfed by the spirit of the people of Oklahoma when I went there,” Thomas told BuffaloBills.com. “I still have a lot of connections there and it will always hold a special place in my heart, especially this week.”
Thomas said he frequently makes trips to Oklahoma and plans on extending this trip to help those effected by the catastrophic tornado.
