Three Lockport Residents Arrested for Welfare Fraud

NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. (WKBW) - Three Niagara County Residents were arrested for welfare fraud, sheriffs say.

After an investigation by the Niagara County Sheriff's
Office and the Department of Social Service, arrested were 52-year-old Mary Winslow and 39-year-old Dwayne Winslow of Lockport.

Mary Winslow was charged with Grand Larceny, Welfare Fraud, and Offering a False Instrument for Filing. She was arraigned and remanded on bail of $750.00.

Dwayne Winslow was charged with Grand Larceny, Welfare
Fraud, and Offering a False Instrument for Filing. He was arraigned and remanded on bail of $2,500.

Both are scheduled to return to City of Lockport Court Wednesday.

In a separate investigation, sheriffs also arrested 34-year-old Donyle Walker of Lockport. She was arraigned on charges of Grand Larceny, Welfare Fraud, and Offering a False Instrument for Filing. Bail was set
at $500 and she is also scheduled to return to City of
Lockport Court Wednesday.
