Buffalo, NY: Funniest play ever written returns to Buffalo! The Kavinoky Theatre, a professional theatre on the campus of D’Youville College, will present NOISES OFF by Michael Frayn for a four-week limited engagement beginning on February 15, 2013. Back by audience demand after 20 years, and touted as "the most dexterously realized comedy ever about putting on a comedy" by the New York Times, the funniest play ever written returns! Slamming doors, backstage intrigue, and absolute mayhem ensues in this laugh-out-loud, non-stop whirlwind of hysterical proportions.

Directed by Kavinoky's Artistic Director David Lamb, the hilarious production features some of Buffalo's most talented actors: Josie DiVincenzo, Lisa Ludwig, Peter Palmisano, Christian Brandjes, John Fredo, Michele Marie Roberts, Guy Balotine, Kevin Craig and Jessica Ferraday. The Kavinoky’s stellar design team has pulled out all the stops for this uproarious comedy. David King’s double set (literally) spins out of control! Brian Cavanagh’s lighting design, Tom Makar’s feverish sound design, and Dixon Reynolds’s costumes complete the mad-cap farce.

Performances for this four-week limited engagement (February 15 – March 10, 2013) will take place on Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 p.m., Saturdays at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., and Sundays at 2:00 p.m. The gala opening night performance will be held on Friday, February 15 at 7:30 p.m. and includes a catered wine reception with the cast following the performance. Tickets are $39.00 with discounts available to seniors, students, military, and groups. For tickets, call (716) 829-7668 or order fee-free at
