BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) Hours of recordings from Jacqueline Kennedy are being made public after almost 50 years, in an exclusive ABC report and a book written by her daughter, Caroline Kennedy.

These interviews are giving us a rare look into the life of a very private woman.

In Western New York, attorney and community activist Kevin Gaughan and his family had a deep connection to the Kennedy family. He shared those memories with Channel 7's Joanna Pasceri in an exclusive interview.
