Online powerhouse Google has unveiled a new technology: Talking Shoes!

The product was developed to showcase it's new advertising innovation program called "Art, Copy, and Code."

Google took a few pair of Adidas sneakers and placed a small computer in them to tell you what you are and aren't doing, then relay that information to your phone via Bluetooth or the speaker in the top tongue of the show.

The idea is that the show would function a lot like many of the fitness gadgets out their that attempt to motivate you more.

The device made it's debut late last week during the SXSW Music and Arts Festival in Austin, Tex.

The possibilities are endless. For example, it uses Bluetooth technology to connect itself to the internet and can actually provide location and directions using Google Maps. Also, the show can be worn by athletes to let their Twitter followers know how fast they're going during a sporting event.

Though the product seems like a very useful device, Google has no plans yet to develop the fancy footwear into an empire as of yet.
