BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) WKBW Photographer Chris Podosek caught up with former Buffalo Bill Terrell Owens outside The Buffalo Chophouse, as he was leaving the restaurant Friday night.
After spending time dining solo, Terrell spoke with Podosek, a few fans, and some media who gathered in the parking lot off Pearl Street.
Podosek asked Owens about his arrival in Cincinnati, and how it compared to Buffalo last season. Terrell mentioned that he went from the airport, right to practice...and that his Ohio welcome did not include a key to the city.
When asked about the Buffalo "Key To The City" Terrell picked up last summer on the steps of the Albright Knox Art Gallery, Owens said he spoke to Mayor Brown, and that Brown told him to keep it in appreciation for the work he did in the community during his time as a Buffalo Bill.
After the brief exchange, Terrell then asked who was going to take him back to the hotel. Podosek offered up a seat in the Channel 7 news cruiser.
While riding back to the hotel to make an 8pm team meeting, Podosek reminded T.O. that he was one of the photographers that shot his visit to Channel 7 last summer. Owens appeared exclusively as the Eyewitness Sports anchor for his VH1 reality show.
While making the brief trip, Chris Podosek told wkbw.com that Owens commented about activity on the Chippewa strip.
Both T.O. and Chris ( nicknamed "Podo" at the station ) are bald - which
made for a very interesting photo of their Friday night reunion.
The Buffalo Bills host the Cincinnati Bengals Saturday night at 6:30p.m. for T.O.'s return to Ralph Wilson Stadium. The game will air on a tape delay basis at 8p.m. Sunday night on Channel 7, "Your Official Station Of The Buffalo Bills."
