(WKBW-TV) Fayetteville, North Carolina police have made an arrest in connection with the death of 25-year old, Danielle Watson.

Danielle Watson's body was found early Saturday morning behind a garbage dumpster in the Stonecrest Shopping Center in Ballantyne, NC.

Watson was born in Lockport, NY and still has many relatives in the area.

"Everybody loved her. She was a doll. It is really hard," says her aunt, Lori Watson.

Her family tells Eyewitness News that Danielle was two months pregnant and recently heard the baby's heartbeat for the first time.

According to her aunt, Danielle Watson was planning on marrying her fiance, Keith Smith, this coming weekend at a courthouse ceremony.

Early Saturday morning, Keith Smith called 9-1-1 to check the restaurant where his girlfriend worked.

He was concerned after he received a phone call with muffled voices and unintelligible conversation.

A mixup in addresses sent police to the wrong location.

Several hours later, a garbage truck worker discovered the woman's body behind a dumpster.

Police are now charging a co-worker, 22-year old, Mark Anthony Cox, with her murder.

Under a new North Carolina law, Mark Cox will also be charged with the murder of her unborn child.

Mark Cox worked at the Flying Biscuit Cafe, a restaurant that was managed by Danielle Watson.

Police say he killed Watson as part of a robbery, and then stole the woman's car.

Monday afternoon, Mark Cox was apprehended by authorities at a friends location in Fayetteville, NC.

Danielle Watson's car was parked close-by.
