Study: Healthy Living Reduces Risk of Developing Diabetes

A study by U.S. National Institutes of Health researchers shows that a person's risk of developing diabetes can be reduced by as much as 80 percent by living a healthy lifestyle, according to a USA Today story.

"The lifestyle factors we looked at were physical activity, healthy diet, body weight, alcohol consumption and smoking," lead researcher Jarad Reis told USA Today.
