Study: 9/11 Firefighters at Greater Risk for Cancer

A new study says firefighters who were on scene at the World Trade Center on 9/11 and those who worked at the site following the terrorist attack are 19 percent more likely to develop cancer than those who weren't, according to a story in the New York Times.

The study, which was published in a British medical journal Thursday, included nearly 10,000 New York City firefighters who worked at the World Trade Center site.
