Students at North Collins High School braved the cold to get a taste of what it's like to be homeless.

The students slept in boxes and weren't allowed to eat food or have any electronics.

They worked to raise money for their local food pantry and for the North Collins Neddiest Fund.

We showed the students a video of Jim Wolf, a homeless veteran in Michigan getting a makeover after a non-profit and salon teamed up to do the good deed, sending a powerful message.

Students reflected on the video as they embarked on their homless experience.
