Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - The 2010 Mercedes Benz of Buffalo Fashion Week kicked off in Niagara Square this afternoon. The event is in its second year, and highlights the best of Buffalo's boutiques. More than 30 models, make-up artists, wardrobe consultants, and photographers gathered Thursday at Niagara Square to participate at a public photo shoot.
"This was our big splash and our chance to bring a little big city living to Buffalo by doing a public photo shoot," said Event Coordinator Lauren Byrd.
Couture events are planned throughout the week and will be wrapping up next Thursday at the newly renovated Buffalo Convention Center, when local designers showcase their collections on the runway. For more information visit: http://www.fashionweekbuffalo.com/
