Lewiston, NY (WKBW) - Tuesday evening's concert at Artpark featuring Sublime with Rome, was supposed to be a casual night with good music.

Some concert patrons had a different idea as the State Park Police made two arrests (1DWI, and 1 Trespass) as well as issuing 65 appearance tickets at the outdoor amphitheater and adjacent areas of the state park and it's parking areas.

Of the tickets issued a majority were because of either illegal possession of alcohol, or disorderly conduct.

Other law enforcement agencies working with the State Park Police also reported similar activity, issuing numerous tickets and arrests for open containers and DWI.

Combined law enforcement activity total was more than 150 tickets and custodial arrests.

Many concert goers were also treated on site by EMS staff for alcohol and drug related symptoms.

The concert crowd was about 20% larger than expected by Artpark & Company, with around 10,000 in attendance. The State Police say they will stay vigilant with focusing on crowd control, traffic safety and enforcement of alcohol regulations.
