Buffalo- There is talk in Albany of a potential take over of the Buffalo city schools as a crisis in the district continues.

After the Board of Education said they can only accept the requests of 300 to 500 students who want to transfer out of failing schools, the Buffalo Public Schools Parent Coordinating Council wants officials to rethink their plans.

They are initiating dialogues with the board as well as other educational leaders to arrive at a better solution.

So far no official decisions have been made and the state would still have to approve the boards 300 to 500 figure.
