St. Patrick's Day Bar Goers Turn Buffalo into Pot-of-Gold

Buffalo, N.Y.( WKBW-TV) People celebrating Saint Patrick's Day in Buffalo turned area restaurants and bars into a pot of gold for business owners.

Thousands of people flocked to Buffalo to watch the parade and of course, to eat and drink, celebrating the holiday.

Several city blocks were closed for party-goers in the Allentown and Chippewa areas.

There was a heavy police presence on hand for the day's activities.

Many people reported seeing minor fights, that were quickly broken up by officers.

At least three people were treated for frostbite during the parade due to the cold temperatures.
