BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- Thousands of people poured into Buffalo's Central Terminal for its annual Halloween Bash during Saturday night. Nearly 4,000 people showed up to the old train station for live music and to show off their costumes. Some said they spent several months getting a costume ready. "About July...spent last two weeks everyday until two in the morning making it," one party attendee said.
"There are so many people who come here year after year," event organizer Paul Cambria said. "This great train station has so much character and has been certified by the Sci-Fi people as being haunted, so what could be a better venue than this."
The event benefits the Variety Club and organizers say this year was a record turnout. "It all goes to Variety Club which intern is all donated to the Telethon which is on Channel 7 on March 6th, so we're looking forward to that," Cambria said.
