Marine's Body Returns

CHEEKTOWAGA, NY (WKBW-TV) - Family and friends gathered at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport early Friday morning as the body of Marine Sergeant Trevor Cook arrived home.

Cook, 25, was from Orleans County where he was a 2004 graduate of Lyndonville High School.

He was killed last Wednesday July 6th in a helicopter training accident at Camp Pendleton in California, which is near San Diego.
Cook served as a crew chief for a helicopter attack unit.

The Daily News in Medina reports calling hours for Cook are from 4 to 8p.m. tonight at St. Mary's Church in Medina.

A funeral for Cook will be held at 10am Saturday morning, also at St. Mary's Church.

Cook was a devoted son and bother. He also leaves behind a wife.
