Buffalo, NY (WKBW) Buffalo Police confirmed a shooting happened around 7:45 pm at a store called "Hobby Boys" on East Delavan Avenue between Deerfield and Humber Avenues.

Hobby Boys sells everything from electronics, ATV's to clothing. Nearby residents say they are surprised anything violent would have happened at the store.

We spoke to Evelyn Anderson whose cousin has owned the business for about five years. She was relieved her cousin and son were uninjured but admits the neighborhood is changing.

"Well the neighborhood sometimes things happen like every other neighborhood in buffalo lately but you know at first this was a nice neighborhood but little things happen slowly but its all great it's still alright neighborhood we live in its happening bad all over the place not just our neighborhood," said Anderson.

Police have not released anymore information on the victim, his condition, or what motivated the shooting. If you have any information on the incident you are asked to call the Buffalo Police Confidential Tip Line at 716-847-2255.
