Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW) - Shazam's iPad app has gone through an extreme makeover.

The company launched a completely updated version of it's tablet app Thursday with many new features, including a new discovery homescreen, and an auto-tagging feature that can determine what music, tv show, or advertisement is playing around you by identifying it automatically.

The update also has integrated streaming with RDIO. If you hear a song you like coming from the car next to you at a stoplight, you can instantly figure out what it is, load it, and start streaming it before the light tuns green.

The updated is to help the more that 300 million global users accessing the app, include 93 million in the U.S., progress even further in the world of streaming and discovering new music.
