TOWN OF LEWISTON, NY ( release) Niagara County Sheriff's Office received 911 calls reporting an auto accident with injuries Saturday morning.
The Initial investigation by NCSO, Lewiston Police and State Police, revealed that a 2003 Kia Sorrento operated by 28-year-old Christianer Graham of Niagara Falls was stopped at the eastbound red light when it was struck from behind.
61-year-old Carol Moxham of Tonawanda was operating a 2000 Mercury Marquis, and for an unknown reason struck the Kia at a high speed.
Moxham was taken by MercyFlight to Erie County Medical Center with serious injuries. Graham was taken by ambulance to Mt St Mary's Hospital, treated and released.
Investigation is continuing, with possible charges pending
