Second Suspect Charged With Murder of Taxi Cab Driver

Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW) - A second teen has been arrested in the murder of an airport cab driver.

16-year-old Sean Austin of Buffalo is accused of two counts of second degree murder. Austin joins 17-year-old Maurice Howie, who was also arrested for the murder of cab driver Mazen Abdallah. Howie was arrested in the end of April.

Austin was also charged with eight total counts of robbery. Three in the first degree and five in the second degree. He and Howie were both arraigned in court Thursday morning. If convicted of the crime, he faces a maximum of 120 years to life in state prison.

Howie was also charged with two counts of robbery. If convicted, he faces a maximum of 50 years to life.

Three more people were also arraigned Thursday morning in regards to the case leading to Abdallah's death.

19-year-old Rokym Knox is accused of two counts of robbery and faces a maximum of 15 years in state prison if convicted.

17-year-old Dequan Bailey is accused of six counts of robbery and faces a maximum of 70 years in prison if convicted.

17-year-old Devante Wells is accused of two counts of robbery and faces a maxumum 15 years in state prison if convicted.
