Cheektowaga, NY (WKBW) - The search continues for 53-year-old Jeanne Piacente of Cheektowaga. Piacente was last seen around 6:30 am Tuesday at her home and never showed up to work in Amherst. Piacente has blonde hair, blue eyes and drives a 2009 Chevy Equinox with a New York State license plate number: APH-5164. Cheektowaga Police tell Eyewitness News there was no forced entry at her Cheektowaga home and detectives have expanded their search efforts. Police have also cross checked her license place at various toll booths and border crossings but so far, nothing has turned up.

"We're sending detectives out to retrace her steps, and her destination route where she travels to work," said Cheektowaga Police Lt. Scott Prell. "Everyone is a creature of habit, so maybe she got gas, or a cup of coffee. So we're seeing if anyone saw her that day."

Wednesday afternoon, volunteer firefighters with the Bellevue Fire Department passed our flyers near Piacente's Cheektowaga home. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jeanne Piacente is asked to call Cheektowaga Police at 686-3510. If you spot the 53-year-old, you are urged to call 911.
