BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Mr. Mike Buckenroth and his fifth grade class at Potter's Road in West Seneca got quite a surprise Tuesday morning.

"This is a total shock, total surprise and amazing," Buckenroth said.

Walter Posnjak is a student in the class.

"I'm really excited and I never really thought this would happen," Posnjak said.

The class received $1,000 in school supplies all part of the OfficeMax "A Day Made Better Program". They got everything from a colored printer to an electric pencil sharpener and everything in between. Mr. Buckenroth said these supplies will just make his already enthusiastic class even better.

"All this wonderful stuff from Office Max is just so amazing. It's going to take what we been doing then raise it to a new level," Buckenroth said.

And the class was picked to receive these supplies thanks to their teacher. The school principal chose Mr. Buckenroth because of his commitment to the students. The kids agree that their teacher is at the top of the class.

"Well, Mr. B's the best. He is just awesome," Posnjak said.
