School Bus Crashes Into A House: Photo Gallery Included

BUFFALO, N.Y ( WKBW ) A school bus crashed into a home in South Buffalo Thursday morning.

Buffalo police say the bus was traveling east on West Woodside from Hopkins, when the bus apparently struck a pile of stone in the road and then struck a house at 114 West Woodside.

19 students were on the bus at the time.

According to bus officials, 4 of the students have been taken to Women and Children's Hospital for precautionary reasons.

The driver suffered multiple injuries, believed to be non-life threatening.

At least two people were in the home at the time of the incident but they apparently were not injured.

The bus and house were damaged. The cause of the accident
remains under investigation by the Buffalo police accident investigation unit.

A spokesperson for the Buffalo Public Schools told Eyewitness News that the children were on their way to Lorraine Academy.
