BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Buffalo Police are investigating a bus accident that happened on city's east side Monday afternoon.
The incident happened around 2:30 p.m. Monday at the intersection of Grider and Pembroke street, near ECMC.
Police say witnesses tell them that a driver struck the bus, forcing it into a guard rail near the edge of route 33.
31 children were on-board at the time of the crash, who were all evaluated by an Erie County SMART Team on scene. None required any emergency treatment.
The driver of the car was taken by ambulance to a hospital for evaluation. He is expected to be okay.
The accident remains under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
