BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) Western District Buffalo School Board member Ralph Hernandez updated Ginger Geoffery on "Eyewitness News At Noon" Tuesday that the Buffalo School Board has enough votes to terminate the contract of current Buffalo Schools Superintendent Dr. James Williams.

In a LIVE phone interview, Hernandez explained that a vote could be taken at a scheduled 4pm meeting Tuesday afternoon.

When asked who would potentially replace Williams, Hernandez commented that it could be someone from Western New York.

Hernandez later told Eyewitness News that attorney Michael Powers is representing Superintendent Williams, and may seek an injunction from a judge to block any termination vote.

Eyewitness News will continue to follow this story and have the very latest.
