Sabres Head To The Playoffs

It was a winning weekend for the Sabres. They beat the Philadelphia Flyers on Friday and Columbus Blue Jackets on Saturday. Now, they are on their way to the Eastern Conference Quarter Final Series facing the Flyers once again in Philadelphia on Thursday.

Playoff tickets went on sale at 9 a.m.

Sabres went two and two against Philly this season winning the passed two games. Their face off on Thursday will be the ninth time these two teams have met in the post-season. The second game in the series will take place on Saturday also in Philadelphia at 5 p.m. Game three will be back here on Sabres home ice at HSBC Arena on Monday.

Sabres Head Coach Lindy Ruff said although the team has been doing well, they have a lot of challenges ahead.

"Could be law enforcement, it could be someone that works a civil servant. It could be a code enforcement person. Could be a building inspector. Could be a post man or it could be anyone who knows the area quite well," Ruff said.

The Sabres have no announced the detail for their "Party in the Plaza" for Monday night's game. Last Friday before the Philly game, the red carpet was rolled out for 80 former Sabres' players and thousands of fans ready to cheer on the home team.

Again, playoff tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Tickets will be available at the HSBC Arena box office, online at sabres .com or Fans can also charge by phone at 1888-223-6000.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets on line or over the phone to avoid potential delays at the box office.
