Rock out Hunger Food Drive Continues

Lancaster, N.Y. (WKBW) With thanksgiving less than a week away, western new yorkers continue to rock out hunger.

This year thanks to one little boy, three was a big donation delivered Saturday.

10 year old Braeden Schuster organized a food drive in his neighborhood, passing out letters to each house asking for donations.

He then dropped it all off to 97 Rock's DJ Jickster as the Rock out Hunger event continues. Braeden collected around 25 bags of food for the drive.

If you're interested in helping out you can still to donate canned goods, turkeys and cash to the cause at Quaker Steak and Lube on Transit Road,
24-hours a day now until Wednesday at 10 am.

The donations go to the Food Bank of Western New York.

At last check DJ Jickster and his team have collected more than 6500 pounds of food, 1,432 turkeys...and $8008 in donations.
