Reward Offered to Help Find Gunman in Deadly Shooting

Buffalo, NY (WKBW)- The family of 21-year-old Jay Emillio Nieves gathered this morning at the corner of Vermont Street and West Avenue on the city's West Side, the site were Nieves was killed in May. Buffalo Police continue to search for 17-year-old Joshua Nieves, who is wanted in connection with the shooting. Friends and witnesses say the shooting stemmed from an altercation at a club. Both men are not related to each other. Crime stoppers and the victim's employer are offering a reward up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspected killer.

"My family is begging you to do the right thing and help the police find this man so my brother's death does not go unpunished," said Wendy Bonilla, Jay Nieves' Sister.
