Tonawanda, N.Y. (WKBW) - The Riviera Theatre is getting a $275,000 facelift.
A restoration project is beginning on the marquee, which was constructed in 1947.
The theatre has been fundraising for the past two years to make this a reality.
"We are actually going to have some new improvements to it. New electronics and new LED panels that are going to mimic the pattern of the original sign," said Gary Rouleau, Director of Development at the Theatre.
The theatre is also beginning a $6 million dollar expansion project on the backside of the building.
It will include new theatre area and new bathrooms.
