Restaurant Week Kicks Off in WNY!

Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - Western New York's Local Restaurant Week kicked off Monday at the historic Hotel Lafayette. The event has become a culinary tradition in Western New York for patrons to sample some of the area's finest food at a reasonable price. Patrons can enjoy deals at 200 local establishments for only $21.11. Mike Andrezjewski, founder of the event and owner of Sea Bar, wanted to highlight locally owned and operated restaurants and show how much they contribute to the economy.

"Everything evolves around food. It's a really important," said Andrezjewski. "Not only for the economic aspect but for the social aspect and happiness of your entire life."
