BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - As voters prepare to head to the polls Tuesday for primary night, one major race is now 'too close to call.'
A new Siena College poll has the Republican primary race for governor as close as one point, with Rick Lazio leading Carl Paladino 43 to 42 percent.
The party backed candidate Rick Lazio has seen his lead over Buffalo businessman Carl Paladino dwindle from 20 points at one time to next to nothing. The poll shows Lazio taking the majority of the downstate Republican vote, while Paladino heavily carries Upstate New York.
The winner of Tuesday's primary will face Democrat Andrew Cuomo, who is heavily favored to win the general election in November.
