Niagara, NY (WKBW) - An FBI investigation into longtime town of Niagara Supervisor Steven Richards is taking a new twist.

Sources say that Richards is being indicted on state corruption charges.

The Buffalo News reports Richards has been indicted on charges of illegal use of town workers, town material and town equipment following an 18-month investigation.

The Niagara Gazette says both state and federal authorities went to town offices, obtaining documents and interviewing both town employees and town council members.
