Report: Google Looking to Expand Music Service, Launch MP3 Store

According to the New York Times, Google is looking to expand its music service and launch a MP3 store to compete with Apple and Amazon.

According to the Times report, Google is currently negotiating with major record labels and would like to open the MP3 store, which would likely be connected to its Music Beta service, in the next few weeks.
