Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - The final lawsuit over the crash of Flight 3407 could soon come to an end.

The Buffalo News reports attorneys for Doug Wielinski's family plan to meet in chambers with State Supreme Court Justice Frederick Marshal and attorneys for the airlines listed in the lawsuit to discuss a possible settlement.

Wielinski died when Flight 3407 came crashing into his Clarence Center home in February of 2009. His wife and daughter escaped the burning house.

49 people on the plane also died.

Lawyers for the Wielinski family say in previous settlement discussion, attorneys offered significantly less than money given to family members of other victims.

Family members of every other victim that died in the plane crash settled with the airlines.

The Wielinski family is the final family still involved in litigation. They are suing Colgan Air, Pinnacle Airlines and Continental Airlines.

Jury selection had been scheduled to start today.
