According to a report in the Kansas City Star, a police affidavit filed during a search warrant request says an FBI cadaver dog indicated a "hit" to the scent of a dead person inside the home of Lisa Irwin, the 11-month-old Kansas City girl who has been missing since Oct. 4.

Authorities executed a search at the home of the baby's parents -- Deborah Bradley and Jeremy Irwin -- on Wednesday.

According to the Star story, the affidavit says the dog indicated a reaction to a scent "in an area of the floor of Bradley's bedroom near the bed."
