BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Friday volunteers with Re-Tree WNY distributed more than 1,000 trees to eight suburbs and the City of Buffalo.
Volunteers say 22 species will be represented including Dogwood, Hackberry, Linden, Pear, Red Oak, Lilac, and Tulip. Many of the trees will be planted this Saturday, November 3rd.
Donations secured from the John R. Oishei Foundation, Garden Walk Buffalo and other organizations allowed the non-profit to purchase the trees.
