Suspect Surrenders In Tonawanda Hit And Run

CITY OF TONAWANDA, N.Y. ( WKBW ) Leslie James Ralston turned himself into police Friday morning after he allegedly hit two teenagers, then took off from the scene, Thursday night in the City of Tonawanda.

Those teens were hit in the 1900 block of Niagara Street Thursday night.

Both were taken to the hospital, and are expected to recover.

The car involved was recovered a short time late, but the driver was not with the vehicle.

Police identified him as 31 year old Leslie James Ralston, and were searching for him overnight and into Friday morning before he turned himself in.

Another person was in the car with him, but according to officials, jumped out of the car shortly after the incident. That person was also taken to the hospital.
