NIAGARA FALLS, NY (WKBW) - The Niagara County SPCA is on the lookout for a Niagara Falls Homeowner who they say abandoned 3 dogs in a 12th Street home. The animals were seized on Sunday, after 12th Street neighbors contacted police about the welfare of 3 dogs.
Officials say they found 2 adult Labrador/Rottweiler Mixes, along with their 7 week old puppy, malnourished inside the abandoned home.
The puppy, who's been named Jonah, is not doing well according to vets and had to be put on a feeding tube.

"Animals are dependent on their humans for care and when we fail them, it's a difference of life and death for them. This puppy may not make it because his owner is irresponsible and I would like to see him caught, and face those charges," said Shelter Director Amy Lewis.

The Niagara County SPCA says the suspect's name is being withheld since his arrest warrant has not been signed yet by a judge, but Lewis says he will face 3 counts of animals cruelty. Niagara Falls Police are currently on the lookout for the homeowner.
