Cascade Consulting Group in partnership with Say Yes for Education hosted two community forums at 6 p.m. Thursday to help find a qualified pool of candidates for the superintendent of Buffalo Public Schools position.
One meeting was held at Waterfront Elementary School and the other at Hamlin Park School.
The superintendent seat was left vacant in September when Dr. James Williams was pushed out of the position after his job performance was called into question.
Board members are anxious to find a permanent replacement and hope to select a candidate by July 1st.
Former math teacher and long time district administrator Amber Dixon took over as Interim Superintendent when Williams left in September.
Dixon has said publicly that she wants the job.
