Buffalo (WKBW.com) Prospective owner Terry Pegula paid a visit to the HSBC Arena on Tuesday as signs continue to point to the eventual sale of the team to the Pennsylvania Billionaire. The Sabres confirmed the visit with a short statement which read "Terry Pegula visited the Buffalo Sabres offices today for informal discussions. Neither the Sabres nor Mr. Pegula are available to comment".

Pegula has been in discussions to purchase the Sabres from current owner Tom Golisano for a reported $175 million dollars. Sabres managing partner Larry Quinn said last week not to expect any type of announcement "in the immediate future".
