(ABC News release) As Father’s Day approaches, President Barack Obama discusses his personal and revealing lessons about fatherhood with “Good Morning America” co-anchor Robin Roberts in an interview to air during Friday's program.

The President will discuss his own experience being a dad to his two daughters and also the strained relationship with his own father. In his memoir “Dreams from My Father,” he wrote about the complex relationship with his dad.

In addition, the President will respond to questions from little league dads to fathers serving on battlefields around the world, and even from a few celebrities, on what it means to be a father.

The interview will air on “Good Morning America” on Friday, June 17. Portions of the interview will also be featured on “World News with Diane Sawyer” on Friday and “This Week with Christiane Amanpour” on Sunday, June 19.
