Last night marks the 7th consecutive win for the University at Buffalo football team. The UB Bulls took to their home turf and came out on top with an overwhelming win against Ohio University. For the last several years, the Bobcats have had control of a top ranking in the Mid-American Conference East Division, but last night the Bulls took charge on the field, winning 30-3. The players remain undefeated in MAC play and hold a 7-2 record for the season. Now, the Bulls take a two game lead in the standings as the battle to become bowl eligible gets more aggressive.
The Buffalo Bulls first walked off the field a bowl eligible team after beating Kent State University. The UB Bulls had just come off their 6th consecutive win after playing Kent State Golden Flashes. UB players pulled a 20-point win over KSU. Senior tailback Branden Oliver led the game with a career-high four touchdowns. The team hasn't seen six straight victories since 1959. The win advanced the Bulls to a 6-2 standing overall and 4-0 in the MAC.
UB will travel to Toledo on November 12th to play the Rockets.
