BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -- Democrat Andrew Cuomo has a commanding lead over his Republican rival in the race for governor, according to a poll released Thursday by Siena College.
Cuomo leads Carl Paladino by a 57 percent to 24 percent margin with Conservative Party candidate Rick Lazio receiving eight percent.
The poll contradicts a Quinnipiac Poll released on Wednesday that showed Paladino trailing Cuomo by just six points. Lazio was not included in that poll.
The Quinnipiac Poll shows Cuomo leading Paladino 49 percent to 43 percent.
A Marist College on the governor's race is set to be released Friday morning.
